The Janaza (Islamic funeral) prayer for Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele, close associates of heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua, has been scheduled for Sunday, January 4, 2026.

The prayer service will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG, following the repatriation of their bodies to the United Kingdom.

The burial arrangements were announced in a statement released on Saturday by Boxing King Media, which expressed condolences to the bereaved families.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones,” the statement read.

Ghami and Ayodele, popularly known as “Latz,” died in a tragic road accident in Nigeria on Monday, December 29, 2025. The crash occurred along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in the Makun area of Ogun State.

The Lexus SUV conveying Anthony Joshua was said to have collided with a stationary truck, resulting in the death of his strength and conditioning coach, Sina Ghami, and his personal trainer, Latif Ayodele, who died at the scene.

Joshua, who was also involved in the accident, reportedly sustained only minor injuries.

The funeral in London is expected to draw family members, friends, and members of the global boxing community, who will gather to pay their final respects to the deceased.
