The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has secured a venue for its forthcoming national convention in Abuja, following earlier concerns over alleged efforts to frustrate the event.

The development was announced on Monday by the party’s coalition mobilisation wing, ADC Vanguard, via its official 𝕏 account.

According to the statement, the convention will now hold at the Rainbow Event Centre, located at Plot 1193A, Off Southern Parkway, behind the FCDA/AGIS building and near the Nigerian Television Authority headquarters in Area 11.

The announcement comes hours after a party chieftain raised concerns that the ADC had been unable to secure a venue within the Federal Capital Territory, alleging possible attempts to obstruct the convention.
