Relationship coach and lead pastor of David’s Christian Centre (DCC), Kingsley Okonkwo, has launched a matchmaking platform for Christian singles seeking marriage.
Okonkwo unveiled the platform, named Mentor To Marry, through a series of social media posts.
The cleric said modern relationships had become increasingly commercialised, making it difficult for some single men to find suitable partners.
He argued that many relationships in the current generation are driven by financial considerations rather than genuine friendship and compatibility.
According to him, the platform is open to men of different social and financial statuses who are serious about marriage.
Mentor To Marry describes itself as a “guided marriage-preparation and matching community for serious Christian singles who desire intentional, Kingdom-minded marriages.”
Checks on the platform showed that applicants can choose from three categories: Regular, Premium and VIP.
The Regular package costs N70,000 and provides eight weeks of mentoring classes as well as access to a limited number of profiles.
The Premium package costs N350,000 and offers additional benefits, including membership of a private group.
The VIP package costs N700,000 and includes access to global profiles.
The initiative combines relationship mentoring and matchmaking, with the stated aim of helping Christian singles prepare for and find intentional, faith-based marriages.
