The Egba Ogboni, in collaboration with Hirealms Resources Limited, will hold a workshop on Thursday, September 10, 2026, as part of efforts to promote knowledge, responsible leadership, discipline, ethical conduct, peaceful coexistence and sustainable community development within Egbaland.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman of the Planning Committee and Baasala Ijemo EGBA, Chief Ade-Adeniji Adeleke, the workshop, themed “Building a Better Egba Ogboni: Prospects and Challenges,” is expected to attract approximately 400 participants.
Participants will include Ogboni members from Egba Ake (Eku, Aarin and Agbeyin), Egba Oke-Ona, Egba Gbagura and Egba Owu, alongside distinguished traditional leaders, invited personalities and other stakeholders.
The statement said the workshop would feature expert presentations, interactive sessions, practical discussions, question-and-answer sessions and case studies.
It added that the sessions would focus on the responsibilities of traditional institutions and their members in preserving cultural values while contributing meaningfully to justice, peace and community development.
The programme will take place at Adire Hall, Ake Palace, Abeokuta, Ogun State, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with participants expected to be seated by 9:30 a.m.
