Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, has directed that all Public and Private Primary and Secondary Schools as well as Government Technical Colleges in the State are to resume for First Term, 2026/2027 Academic Session on Monday, September 14, 2026, saying this was in line with Ogun State Academic School Calendar for the session.

 A Release by the Commissioner in the Ministry, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, stated that Schools are expected to commence academic activities immediately, enjoining parents and guardians to prepare their wards for the resumption.
