The Ogun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has restated its commitment to ensuring that school administrators and teachers in public secondary schools remain efficient and effective in sustaining the State’s standard of academic excellence.

The Chairman of the Commission, Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu, stated this  during a  school resumption  monitoring visit to Abeokuta Grammar School, Idi-Aba, and African Church Grammar School, Ita-Eko, both in Abeokuta, in the Egba Division.

Sanyaolu, in company of Board and Ex-offfio members, Permanent Secretary, and other officials of the agency,

said the Ogun State education system was known for its high standard, urging teachers across various subjects to intensify  efforts towards improving students’ academic performances and moral development.

“The present Commission is embarking on transformative reforms to complement Ogun’s standard education system, and we will not condone any non-chalant attitude that will lead to underperformance of learners,” Sanyaolu warned.

He charged teachers to maintain professionalism and embrace technology to enhance  quality of teaching and learning in public schools.

Responding, the Principals of Abeokuta Grammar School, Idi-Aba and African, Church Grammar School,  Ita-Eko, Mr. Olusola John and Mr. Samson Adekunte, respectively, commended TESCOM for the visit., pledging  to continue to discharge their responsibilities diligently and support the Commission’s efforts to improve the quality of education in the State.
