To ensure improved well-being and wellness of the people of Ogun State, a Non-Governmental Organization, Inaolaji Humane Foundation (IHF) has rendered medical support to over Seventy(70) beneficiaries in Ogun State.
Addressing beneficiaries at the event held at Oke-Ijeun, Abeokuta, with the theme; ‘’Medical Outreach and Consultation’’, the Chairman and Founder of the Organization, Pastor Emmanuel Inaolaji, said the exercise was necessary at ensuring the stability and sound health of the people.
Represented by the Coordinator, Lagos State Branch, Mrs. Omodele Bello, the founder noted that IHF was established in year 2020, and it has impacted lives positively especially the most vulnerable, aged, widows and widowers in the society.
He emphasized that the organization was not affiliated with any political party or individuals, adding that the aim was to restore hope and put smile on the faces of the people.
While delivering the Lecture, the official from the State Ministry of Health, Mr. Wale Adebamowo revealed that about 20 Million people are living with Hypertension, stressing the need for regular check up especially blood pressure, to avoid stroke.
Adebamowo highlighted the causes of hypertension to include smoking, excessive intake of alcohol, among others.
Lending his voice, the optometrist from Ijebu-Ode, Dr. Samuel Uduaga while delivering the lecture tagged ‘’Eye, the light in human life’’, said, the eye remain an important part of human body as sensory organ, urging participants to take good care of their eyes.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Dorcas Abraham appreciated the organization for the opportunity, promising to follow the instruction and make use of drugs provided.
Highlight of the event were; free eye screening, free blood sugar check, free sugar level check and free drugs among others.
