Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives, Alhaji Ademola Balogun has given out POS machines and cash reward to indigenes of Ijebu-Igbo and its environs as part of the empowerment programmes embarked upon by the Commissioner to relieve the hardship of the people.
Alhaji Balogun during the presentation charged the beneficiaries to be up and doing, dedicated and prudent. He encouraged them to work harder and be more committed as walk of a thousand miles begins with a step, with hard work and commitment, this humble beginning will thrive and become big, he said.
The Commissioner also gave assurance that more is on the way, stated that all residents of Ogun State will benefit in one way or the other as he is Commissioner for all local governments in the state and not just for one.
Reacting, one of the beneficiaries, Mr Gegeowo Adeboye appreciated the kind gesture of the Honourable Commissioner, described it as unexpected and timely. He thanked the Commissioner on behalf of all beneficiaries for this thoughtful empowerment, encouraged him to continue to do good.
