The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Ogun State Chapter, has announced foremost airline company, Valuejet Nigeria as title sponsor for the 4th edition of SWAN Security Cup tournament.

The Chairman of the Association, Ogun State Chapter, Mr. Micheal-Azeez Ogunsiji confirmed the development at a meeting between the SWAN and the company, saying that Value Jet Nigeria accepted to be the official sponsor of the annual tournament. 

Ogunsiji noted that the continuous collaboration between Value Jet Nigeria and SWAN shows the deep connection to promote synergy among security agencies, while also promising a competitive tournament ahead. 

 "We are delighted to announce Valuejet as the official title sponsor of the 4th SWAN Security Cup. Valuejet is a sports-loving brand that adheres to stringent quality standards," he said.

He promised that 2024 SWAN Security Cup would be bigger than previous tournaments in terms of organisation, while the branding aspect will also hit a new high.

The association assured members of the public of thrilling matches, and great sportsmanship in the upcoming event.

Recall that the Nigeria Police defeated Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on penalties to win the 3rd edition.
