The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State chapter, has expressed shock at the sudden demise of a renowned Journalist and a finest broadcaster, Prince Toyin Adegboyega Gbadebo who passed onto glory on Tuesday night.

Prince Gbadebo, whose news of his demise was announced on Wednesday served in various capacities at the State Council level, during his service years and continued to identify with NUJ even after retirement as the Deputy General Manager of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the union, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju and the Secretary,Comrade Bunmi Adigun, the union described Prince Gbadebo's death as a ride shock which the union is yet to believe.

“I find it unbelievable as we were together at an event last Friday. He was full of life and jovial with everyone at the event, exchanging banters with people", the statement adds.

The Council extends heartfelt sympathies to the family and loved ones of the deceased, acknowledging the profound impact of their loss.
