To further enhance the security of the lives and property of its workforce, Ogun State government has created a Front Desk Office at Block A in the state Secretariat at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta
Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Mr. Jola Oyeneye, while fielding questions from journalists, at the Front Desk Office, said the initiative was borne out of the present administration’s quest to improve worker's security and safeguard government property within the Secretariat.
Mr. Oyeneye pointed out that the initiative would put an end to unauthorised activities, increase gatekeeping control access to the secretariat, as well as end hawking and loitering along the corridors of the Block.
Remarking, Permanent Secretary, Teaching Service Commission, Mrs. Melutia Ogunremi, appreciated the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for the laudable move, adding that it would enhance quality service delivery.
Mrs. Funmilayo Salako, a staff of the Ministry of Health, commended the government for creating the Desk, noting that it would secure the lives and property of Civil Servants.
