Popular gospel musician, Evangelist Opeoluwa Samuel Ojo has been appointed as Special Adviser on Religious Matters by Hon. Dr Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, representing Ibarapa North/Central Federal Constituency in the House of Representative.

Evangelist Ojo popularly known as 'Omo Iya Tisa' described the appointment as a call to serve the good people of Ibarapa.

In a statement signed by the media Consultant to the appointee, Mr Seyi Ipadeola, made available to The Alternative News platform said his appointment was a testament that Adepoju is unprecedented in the anal of political space in Ibarapa axis.

The young musician explained that the leadership of Adepoju in blending both the youth and adults made him stand out among his peers in political terrain.

"I sincerely appreciate Dr Adepoju's leadership style and trust he has in my ability to serve in his cabinet",

"I am ready and fully dedicated to this new role with every sense of responsibility so as to make Ibarapa North/Central Federal Constituency once again, the leading force for good in Oyo state",

"As you start the journey of transforming our Constituency for the better, I'll give my sincere and unwavering support to the best of my ability", he promised.

Ojo, however, thanked the Christian community in the entire Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency for the opportunity given to him based on  trust, assuring that he will never disappoint them.
