The Chairman-elect, Yewa North Local Government,  Hon (Dr) Olusola Samuel Akinbode and his Vice, Hon. Olumide Joseph Ilori have received certificates of return as the Chairman and Vice Chairman Elect of the Council.

The  certificates was presented by the Chairman, Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission(OGSIEC), Mr. Babatunde Osibodu at the commission's   headquarters, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta and  witnessed by political stalwarts, family and well-wishers of the winners.

Speaking after the ceremony, Hon (Dr) Akinbode appreciated the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun for superintending a free and fair election.

Dr Akinbode also appreciated the electorate for coming out to exercise their constitutional right and for considering him and his vice worthy of their votes during the election.

He promised not to disappoint them for the trust and confidence invested in him, his Vice and the Councillor
