Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly have impeached Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, DAILY POST reports.

The lawmakers are accusing Obasa of multiple statutory and financial infractions.

Peoples Gazette reports that the lawmakers replaced Obasa by his D,eputy Lasbat Meranda.

Meranda, who represents Apapa Constituency 1, was also a former chief whip of the House.
