In preparation for the 2025 World Radio Day, the leadership of Premium Radio Chapel, led by Chairman Comrade Seyi Ipadeola, paid a courtesy visit to Day Waterman College
Principal, Mr. Ahmed Kamal.
During the visit, Mr. Kamal unveiled plans to make Day Waterman College, a British school in Kobape, near Abeokuta, Ogun State, a model for other British schools in Nigeria.
Describing the college as a "value-driven, world-class educational institution," Mr. Kamal emphasized its unique blend of Nigerian and British curriculum. He noted that the college's infrastructure was purposefully built to aid educational purposes, providing a conducive learning environment.
The college's curriculum prepares students for Nigerian universities and equips them to adapt to UK schools. "99% of our students further their education abroad, and we ensure they are well-prepared," Mr. Kamal said.
He also highlighted the college's commitment to discipline, ensuring consequences for misbehavior to serve as a deterrent.
Mr. Kamal's vision is to make Day Waterman College a benchmark for excellence in British education in Nigeria.
