TRACE Officers' Wives Association (TROWA) have sensitised market women and men as well as motorcycle riders on the need to prioritise safety while going about their  businesses.    

The Association Chairperson, Mrs. Moronke Ogunyemi made this known during their Annual Sensitisation and Fitness Walk, at Omida and Panseke markets, imploring the traders from displaying their wares by the road side to ensure free flow of traffic and prevent avoidable accidents which could cut short their lives.

Ogunyemi urged the market men and women, to use the shops and stalls made available for them by the government rather than displaying their goods by the road.

She advised the Okada riders to use correct helmet to protect head injuries in case of any accident.

The Chairperson also admonished them to keep the surroundings of the market clean to ward off any epidemic capable of jeopardising their healthy living.

 In his remark, TRACE Commander General, Olaseni Ogunyemi commended TROWA for their concerted efforts at sensitising market men and women, on the need to prioritise their safety, appreciating them for creating public awareness about the importance of traffic management.
