The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Retired Vice Admiral Ibas, has appointed Professor Ibibia Lucky Worika as the new Secretary to the State Government, SSG.

According to the statement, Professor Worika was selected after a rigorous evaluation of his credentials, extensive experience, and outstanding performance during the selection process.

It highlighted his distinguished career spanning academia, international legal practice, and high-level policy advisory roles, noting that his expertise makes him well-suited to support the Administrator in fulfilling the President’s mandate.

The statement added that the appointment takes immediate effect.
