Ogun State Government will not relent in its efforts at providing the needed resources and materials for the State workforce, towards promoting effective job delivery and bringing out the best in all Agencies of Government.

The State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya disclosed this at a day workshop for Head of Departments in SUBEB and Local Government Education Authorities in the State organised by Ogun SUBEB in collaboration with the Bureau of Public Service Reforms with the theme "Leadership Administration and Resource Management held in Abeokuta.

Mr. Onasanya who declared the workshop open said the present administration had provided enough avenue through regular training and retraining of both management and other members of staff, while charging them to utilise the available resources in an effective manner. "The State government has put much effort to ensure that the Civil Service was better than the way it was met."

The Head of Service represented by the Permanent Secretary Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Mr. Jola Oyeneye said the State Government had never rest on its oars in making the Civil Service better for all, appreciating the present administration, facilitators of the programme as well as members of staff.

In his lecture, Executive Secretary, Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mr. Yemi Oduyemi enjoined Officers to work within the limited resources in their disposal and promote the core values of the Agency towards achieving its set goals.

He charged them to leverage on digital technology among other social media platforms for monitoring, to engage in online teacher training, ensure the use of communication tools such as Zoom, Microsoft teams, Whatsapp, among others, to strengthen institutional framework and improve trust as well as ensure capacity building at all levels.
