The Ogun State Government will soon commission a newly rehabilitated office complex for Bureau of Statistics in conjunction with the Ogun State Economic Transformation Project, OGSTEP for efficient job delivery.
The release signed by OGSTEP State Project Coordinator, Mrs. Mosunmola Owo-Odusi, said the Chief Economic Adviser to the Governor and Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo, who doubles as the Chairman of the OGSTEP Steering Committee, would officially commission the project on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Bureau’s premises at Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta.
The release stated that the rehabilitation of the Bureau of Statistics Office was part of the Prince Dapo Abiodun’s-led administration’s ongoing efforts towards strengthening data management, promoting evidence-based policy making and enhancing service delivery, under the Public Service Reforms component of OGSTEP, a World Bank-supported initiative focused on driving private sector-led growth and economic transformation in the State.
Members of the Public, Development Partners, Civil Servants and the Media are cordially invited to attend and witness this landmark event.
