The first batch of Ogun State Pilgrims comprising 423 persons have arrived at the Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport on Monday, May 12th, 2025, for their Holy pilgrimage.
Executive Secretary of the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, (OGMPWB), Alhaji Ajibola Taiwo, made this known during a chat with Newsmen in Abeokuta, saying that all pilgrims had been allocated rooms to rest after the six-hour journey from Nigeria to Medina.
"All pilgrims arrived in Medina after an approximately six-hour journey and have been allocated their rooms. They are prepared for the sacred rituals ahead,’’ he said.
He advised them to be worthy ambassadors of the State and the Nation, emphasising the importance of compliance with the directives of Hajj officials.
