The six years of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration has been with consistent policies and programmes by improving the welfare of the state workforce and promoting the wellbeing of the citizenry across the state.

This was the submission of the Secretary to Ogun State Government (SSG), Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, during an interview with Newsmen in his office on the 65th Birthday celebration of the Governor.

Talabi noted that the Governor had crushed political rancor that characterised political divides in the State, saying he was also being celebrated for his consistency in both policy and socio-economic initiatives that had launched the state as nation’s trailblazer.

‘’Your administration's steadfast pursuit of its vision had yielded tangible results, transforming Ogun State into a beacon of progress. The challenges of the past, particularly the initial industrial unrest, have been overcome through your commitment to your promises and your unwavering dedication to the welfare of our workers,’’ he said.

The SSG expressed gratitude to God for the privilege of serving in the Governor’s cabinet, appreciating him for finding him worthy working with him. "One remarkable thing about my relationship with the Governor in the past six years, which endears me to him, is the trust he has in me which money cannot buy."

Talabi said the last six years had also heralded unprecedented job creation, industrial revolution, business expansions and uncommon youths engagement, adding that the resounding success of the 2024 National Sports Festival, tagged ‘’Gateway Games’’ stands as a testament to his exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence.

The SSG wished the Governor good health and sound mind, praying that he would finish with greater accomplishments, "which the eyes have not seen, ears have not heard the greater pedestal that God has prepared for you, your Excellency'.
