Mr. Saheed Tajudeen, a distinguished lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade, has been honoured with the Best Staff Adviser of the Year Award and appointed as a RAEDER Ambassador during the department’s annual week of activities.

Mr. Tajudeen, who also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Acolyte Media, received the Best Staff Adviser award in recognition of his outstanding mentorship, unwavering support, and deep commitment to student development. Widely admired on campus, he is known for his positive influence both inside and outside the classroom.

In addition to the academic honour, Mr. Tajudeen was appointed RAEDER Ambassador by RAEDER Organisation, a Lagos-based fashion brand committed to promoting creativity, excellence, and youth empowerment. The ambassadorial recognition celebrates his professional impact and personal elegance, which stood out during the Social Activities Week.

 “This means a lot to me. I’m grateful and will continue to do my best to support students and promote growth in every space I find myself,” Mr. Tajudeen remarked after receiving the honours.

He extended heartfelt appreciation to the event organisers, the institution’s management, and especially Mrs. Arowosegbe, his Head of Department, as well as colleagues in the department for their consistent support.

Student leaders also lauded Mr. Tajudeen’s dedication, describing him as a shining example of educational excellence and youth-focused leadership at Gateway ICT Polytechnic.
