The International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja has been officially renamed the President Bola Tinubu International Conference Centre following a major rehabilitation effort.
President Bola Tinubu unveiled the new name on Tuesday during the formal commissioning of the upgraded facility.
The ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike; Senate President Godswill Akpabio; and Deputy Senate President Jibril Barau.
The rehabilitation of the iconic center reportedly cost ₦39 billion, and the facility had been closed since April 2024 for extensive upgrades.
The unveiling is part of a series of infrastructural projects being commissioned by President Tinubu ahead of Democracy Day celebrations on June 12, 2025.
