Achudume has emphasized the urgent need for true discipleship within the Body of Christ as a means to achieve meaningful progress in Christendom and uphold scriptural standards in church leadership across Nigeria.
This call was made during a familiarization visit by the National Coalition for Apostles, Bishops, Arch-Bishops, and Cardinals (NCABAC) at his office in Abeokuta.
Achudume appealed for authentic spiritual leadership, implored senior church leaders to mentor their followers in line with biblical teachings and moral responsibilities, adding that spiritual matters always uphold according to the biblical injunction.
Speaking, the NCABAC Interim National President, Arch-Bishop Gideon Bamidele Akintunde, said the purpose of the visit was to seek further spiritual counsel and mentorship in advancing the work of the Church in Ogun State, noting that those that seek the counsel of God never failed.
He reiterated the coalition’s stance on the necessity of true discipleship for the overall growth of the Christian faith across the country.
Arch-Bishop Akintunde, who had earlier led his delegation on a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Ogun State Chapter, stressed the critical role of leadership in the church, stating that a faulty head would inevitably put the whole body at risk.
The NCABAC delegation was warmly received at the NLC by the State Secretary, Comrade C.N.W. Omoneh, on behalf of the State Chairman, Comrade Ademola Benco, reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the integrity of Christendom in Nigeria and diligently prepare souls for the Second Coming of the Christ.
Also speaking, the National Chairman, (NCABAC), Ogun State Chapter, Bishop Elect Dr. Chaplain Sarah Folashade Aladeselu appreciated Apostle Achudume and the NLC Chairman, Benco, affirming their support and spiritual guidance to the association.
The visit also had in attendance the Secretary to the Interim National President, Evangelist Eniola Solaja and Financial Secretary to the Interim National President, Pastor Mrs. Rose Chinyere Odebiyi, among others.
