Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s achievements within his first two years in office are unprecedented and sufficient to secure the support of Nigerians ahead of future elections.

Speaking to journalists at his country home in Igbere, the former Abia State Governor expressed unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), vowing to do everything in his power including risking his life to ensure the party’s continued success.

 “I am ready to lay down my life for the party,” Kalu asserted. “I am APC to the core. That’s why APC is strong in Abia North.”

He emphasized that the APC remains a formidable force in the region and assured that he and other loyalists would work hard to deliver Abia State to President Tinubu and the APC in the 2027 elections.

“Our party will work hard to deliver the President in the state. We have done it in the past, and we will do it again in 2027,” he added.

Kalu, who once served as the Senate Chief Whip, also defended the state of the economy under Tinubu, calling for patience as the administration implements recovery strategies.

 “The economy needs time to bounce back. The President is working to ensure that the economy bounces back,” he said, expressing confidence in Tinubu’s economic reforms and efforts to stabilize the naira.
