Newly sworn-in APC National Chairman, Prof. Yilwatda, has vowed to rebuild, unite, and expand the ruling party, describing his emergence as a “sacred trust.”
In his acceptance speech at the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, Yilwatda thanked President Bola Tinubu, party governors, lawmakers, and NEC members for their confidence in him.
Using a metaphor, he likened the party to a vehicle and its members to mechanics, pledging to “fix it and move it to our destination of choice.”
He assured stakeholders of inclusive leadership, driven by the APC’s Renewed Hope agenda.
Yilwatda emphasized collaboration, saying he would rely on the collective wisdom of party members to meet the expectations of Nigerians.
