Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has informed that all Public Primary and Secondary Schools, as well as Government Science and Technical Colleges, would proceed on the third term holiday for the 2024/2025 Academic Session between Friday, August 1 and Friday, September 12, 2025.

A release signed by the Commissioner in the Ministry, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, however, noted that the Private Primary and Secondary Schools were expected to commence their holiday earlier on Monday, July 28, 2025.

The release noted that Public and Private Schools would be resuming fully for the 2025/2026 first-term academic activities on Monday, September 15, 2025.

It urged parents and guardians to provide adequate care and supervision, as well as ensure the safety and well-being of their children and wards during the holiday period.

He appreciated the cooperation of all stakeholders towards the successful 2024/2025 session.
