The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the postponement of its National Elective Convention from August to November 2025.

This was disclosed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, during a press briefing on Thursday in Abuja, following the 101st meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC).

Ologunagba also revealed that the venue of the convention has been changed from Kano to Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Details regarding the specific date and agenda of the convention are expected to be released soon.

The National Convention is a critical event for the PDP, as it provides a platform for leadership elections and strategic decisions ahead of the 2027 general elections.
