President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on All Progressives Congress (APC) governors to intensify grassroots development, noting widespread public dissatisfaction with the current pace of governance.

Speaking at the APC’s 14th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja, Tinubu stressed the need for people-centered policies and stronger grassroots mobilisation.

He expressed appreciation for the vote of confidence passed on him by various party branches, describing it as motivation for deeper commitment across all levels of government. 

Tinubu also proposed the construction of a new APC national secretariat to replace the current Muhammadu Buhari House, asking Progressive Governors to work with the FCT Minister to secure a suitable location.

On the economy, Tinubu maintained that government reforms are beginning to yield results and projected continued growth and stability for the country.
