The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, will be crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.

Findings by The PUNCH Online on Wednesday revealed that his nomination has received the approval of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.

It was further gathered that a state government delegation met with Ladoja and members of the Olubadan-in-Council at his Bodija residence to finalize arrangements.

Confirming the development, Adeola Oloko, media aide to the Olubadan-designate, said,

 “Oba Ladoja will be enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025. The ceremony is billed to hold at the historic Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the state capital.”

It will be recalled that Ladoja had earlier on Tuesday met with the kingmakers at his residence, where his nomination was formally ratified.
