Former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has handed over a property in Yola to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for use as its Adamawa State secretariat.

The building, located in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area, previously served as the PDP state office but will now be repainted in ADC colours ahead of its official occupation.

The development comes amid growing speculations about Atiku’s political alignment after his resignation from the PDP and increasing links with the ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Reacting, ADC chieftain in Adamawa State, Umar Jada, popularly known as Calculate, described the donation as a “major boost” to the party’s structure in the state. Jada, who is also the Assistant National Organising Secretary/Zonal Organising Secretary of the ADC, said the new office would serve as a hub for mobilisation and coordination of party supporters.
