The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a ₦30 reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), bringing it down from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre, effective August 12, 2025.
In a statement on Tuesday, the company’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, said the move reflects the refinery’s commitment to national development and ensuring consistent fuel supply.
“As part of our unwavering commitment to national development, Dangote Petroleum Refinery assures the public of a consistent and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products,” the statement read.
The refinery also revealed plans to begin the phased rollout of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution nationwide, starting August 15, 2025, as part of efforts to promote sustainable energy solutions.
