A young Nigerian TikTok sensation, popularly known as Geh Geh, has stunned social media after raking in gifts reportedly worth over $30,000 during a single live session on Thursday that drew more than 177,000 viewers.
The content creator, who refers to his platform as the “University of Wisdom and Understanding,” has built a fast-rising reputation for his unconventional and often controversial advice to men on relationships, finances, and self-worth.
In a video posted after the live, Geh Geh expressed disbelief at the overwhelming turnout and support:
“More than 177,000 people watch my lectures today. Jesus! University of wisdom and understanding, the only university where once you graduate, woman go fear to ask you for money.”
Branding himself the “first illiterate to find a university in the history of Nigeria,” he reflected on his journey from orphanhood to online stardom.
“I no be graduate too, but by the grace of God, I don find school. I be orphan, but now Nigerians don show me love.”
According to him, the gifts he received during the session were life-changing:
“See gift I made over… more gift when they give me today is worth about $30,000. I no go take this love for granted, because I no really do anything for am.”
His viral breakthrough has been hailed by many as a form of digital empowerment, proof that social media can create opportunities and wealth even for those without formal education.
Though his teachings on money and women continue to stir debate online, Geh Geh’s rise is being celebrated as an inspiration to underprivileged youths. His loyal followers now proudly refer to themselves as “students” of the Geh Geh University.
Reflecting on his newfound recognition, he quipped:
“If Nigeria be country wey value great people, by now them suppose dey compare people like me with Aristotle, Wole Soyinka, Einstein… but I thank God say people dey see my head and my own difference," he stated.
