Governor Siminalayi Fubara has declared that normalcy has returned to Rivers State, following months of political turbulence.

The governor made the remark on Friday while addressing his supporters at the Government House in Port Harcourt, shortly after his return to the state.

Fubara, who had been on a six-month suspension imposed by President Bola Tinubu, was warmly received by a large crowd of supporters upon his arrival.

Expressing gratitude, he commended the people of Rivers for their steadfast support and solidarity throughout the period.

“I appreciate everyone who gave support to bring normalcy back to Rivers State. I know everybody wants to hear something from me. In fact, I expected it when I landed. I want to assure you that we will, by the grace of God, continue to give those things that made you people love us,” Fubara said.
