Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as an “angel” sent by God to fix Nigeria.

Bello made the remark on Saturday during an endorsement rally for President Tinubu and Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo.

Addressing supporters, the former governor said Nigerians had long desired a “new Nigeria”, adding that President Tinubu’s policies were laying the foundation for lasting national transformation.

He cited key reforms such as the removal of fuel subsidy, the introduction of student loans, the floating of the exchange rate, and economic policies he said were designed to boost both government and personal wealth.

Bello urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive of the administration’s efforts, saying the nation’s long-awaited progress would materialise under Tinubu’s leadership.

“We should not wait for miracles,” Bello said. “The angel sent to fix Nigeria is President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
