The Executive Chairman, Epe Local Government Council Area of Lagos State, Princess Surah Animashaun has joined eminent personalities to commend the House Of Representatives, representing Epe Federal  Constituency, Hon. Wale Raji for the commissioning of Ayetoro Modern Market.

The project, according to the Chairperson, was facilitated by the lawmaker, describing the project as a symbol of unity, visionary leadership, and collective commitment to progress of the Epe division.

"In fact, this another milestone for the entire Epe division, as well as fast-growing development trajectory for the council and its environs, so, it is my pleasure to join eminent personalities for the grand commissioning of this modern market facilitated by our amiable lawmaker, Hon. Wale Raji," Princess Animashaun said.

In her remarks, Princess Animashaun described the occasion as “a triumph for grassroots development,” noting that the modern market represented renewed hope and growing economic opportunities for the people and residents of Epe division and its environs.

She commended the lawmaker for his consistent delivery of people-oriented projects and also his dedication to strengthening the economic foundation of the division through purposeful representation.

The Chairperson emphasised that the Ayetoro Modern Market was set to redefine commercial activities by providing traders with a safe, organised, and fully modernised environment that supports small businesses, empowers market operators, and enhances commercial vibrancy.

She reaffirmed her administration’s unwavering commitment to collaborating with leaders who share the vision of a more prosperous, inclusive, and modern Epe division and its suburbs or environs.

“Today’s commissioning is more than a ceremony; it is a testament to Epe’s unity, resilience, and collective drive to build a brighter future for generations to come,” she said.

The event attracted dignitaries from Epe and across the state, who gathered to celebrate the transformative initiative, among them including the Paramount Ruler and Oloja of Epe Land, HRM Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun; APC Lagos State Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi; and respected Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) member and Epe divisional leader, Alhaji Sakiru Akanni Seriki, aka Bamu.

Others were royal fathers, political leaders, community stakeholders, artisans, youth leaders, and market representatives who also joined in the celebration.
