Scripture Union of Nigeria in Abeokuta South Zone, has unveiled its 2026 edition of reading note, including *Daily Milk*, *Daily Power*, *Daily Guide* and *Bibeli Ajumoka* for the reading publics in the Ogun State capital 

A member of the trustees of the Scripture Union of Nigeria, Dr.Kunle Ogun,  Abeokuta-South Zonal Rep.,Mr. Babatunde Sunday and Traveling Secretary, Okike Gideon in their separate remarks during the flagged-off ceremony of the year 2026 devotionals in Abeokuta on Sunday, encouraged Christians, particularly students and pupils in secondary and primary schools to  get Daily Power and Daily Milk to improve on their learning and speaking of English language and understanding of words of God through the scriptures in the Holy Bible 

Dr. Ogun, a former National Vice-Chairman of the Scripture Union emphasized the spiritual importance of Daily Guide for Adult-Christian who should be reading scriptures on daily basis to understand the words of God in the Bible 

He described the reading note as an opener that helps Christians to understand scriptures in the Holy Bible, saying every Christian must have spiritual connection with God , through reading and understanding of scriptures (words of God) in the Holy Bible 

"We must encourage people to take spiritual food (reading scriptures) before the physical food on daily basis, because words of God is life , they  makes individuals perfect as well as spiritually sound and morally upright in the society

The Abeokuta South Zone Rep, Babatunde called on more school children to read Daily Milk to enhance their learning in classrooms , citing schools using the reading note to include Four Square School Abeokuta, Joria School Abeokuta, Trinity College Ofada , Morning Dew. School Abeokuta and Goodness School Abeokuta 

Similarly, Travelling Secretary of the Scripture Union, Okike Gideon who shared his personal experiences recommended the reading of Daily Power and Daily Guide for youths in school and adults

He recalled how the reading note ( Daily Power and Daily Guide) assisted him greatly in secondary school , saying it helped him in improving his spoken English, understanding of comprehension and summary in English language 

"I will advise secondary schools nearby to adopt Daily Power and primary schools to adopt Daily Milk, the style of writing, diction and choice of words are superb , something that every child need", he recommended 

Chairman of Scripture Union Bookshop, Omolara Oni Michael said the Daily Milk Daily Power, Daily Guide and Bibeli Ajumoka are now available for prospective readers to buy and read 

The reading note according to her , addresses real life situations and how to overcome such situations spiritually 

Many members of the Scripture Union of Nigeria in the Abeokuta South Zone,  shared their testimonies of how the reading note (Scriptures ) impacted positively on their educational pursuits, spiritual and moral uprightness in the society
