Ogun DG Assures Staffers of Improved Welfare | The Alternative News

Director- General and Special Adviser, Bureau of Lands and Survey, Arch. Segun Fowora has planned to improve on Staff's Welfare, a move that is aimed to spur the agency to generate more revenue for the State government in the New Year.

Arch. Fowora stated this during the New Year prayer session, organised by the Bureau for its staffers at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, appreciated them for their contributions in achieving revenue targets for the year 2025, advising them not to renege on collective efforts in achieving the agency’s set targets for the new year and to have faith in God to achieve more.

"This year 2026, I expect much from you, I will deliver more too. We all know that there’s a high cost of living and everyone has a mirage of issues and yet, you still find time to come to work, put in your best and contribute to our revenue targets despite all the challenges. So, my focus this year is to do more on staff's welfare, because to whom much is expected, much is given," he said.

On her part, Special Adviser to the Governor on Lands, Princess Oyindamola Oyelese, appreciated every support the Bureau had received from the Prince Dapo Abiodun’s led administration, urging members of staff to continue together in love and with team spirit.

Also speaking, Surveyor-General, Surv. Oladele Ewulo, appreciated the leadership role of the Director- General and encouraged  members of staff to double their efforts to surmount every big mountain.

In his sermon taken from Exodus 1:15 to 21, a pastor from the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Dolapo Olarinde, called on everyone to be connected to God in the new year, in order to have a clear part and achieve greater success in all areas beyond human imagination.
