Popular young Nigerian Afrobeats singer Afeez Adeshina, popularly known as Destiny Boy, has reportedly passed away.

The news of his death was confirmed on Sunday by Instagram investigative journalist Temilola Sobola via a social media post. Announcing the singer’s demise, Sobola wrote:

"Singer Destiny Boy has passed away. May his soul Rest In Peace."
