The Ogun State Government has appointed Bolarinwa-Adebowale as the new Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement, taking over from the Late Dr. Adesina Olanloye.
Bolarinwa-Adebowale, a seasoned lawyer, was born on 22nd May, 1978 in Ibadan, joined the Civil Service as a State Counsel in December 2005.
She attended Anglican Girls' Grammar School, Ijebu-Ode, earned her LL.B at Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) and trained at Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus.
Before her latest appointment, she served as Deputy Director of Civil Litigation in the Ministry of Justice and was later seconded to the Bureau of Public Procurement as a Legal Officer.
Her elevation to the post of Director-General is seen as part of the present administration’s drive of the Prince Dapo Abiodun's government to strengthen due process and accountability in public contracting.
