Former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh, has been appointed into the Directorate of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), a political initiative supporting the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.

The Director General and National Coordinator of the RHA, Hope Uzodimma, announced the appointments on Friday.

In a statement issued by Tunde Rahman, Director of Media and Publicity of the RHA, the initiative was described as a vehicle designed by President Tinubu in November 2025 to promote and disseminate the achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The RHA leadership structure includes Uba Sani as Deputy Director General, Muhammed Inuwa Yahaya as Secretary, and James Abiodun Faleke as Deputy Secretary.

The organisation also features six zonal coordinators, 37 state coordinators, and 774 local government coordinators nationwide.

Metuh was appointed Director of Organisation and Mobilisation among the 16 directorates unveiled. 

Other key appointments include Sunday Dare (Digital and New Media), Muiz Banire (Monitoring, Compliance and Legal), Abike Dabiri-Erewa (Diaspora), and Hadiza Bala Usman (Research and Innovation).

Additional directorates cover areas such as youth engagement, finance, intelligence, planning, welfare, administration, women affairs, technology and data, and support groups, reflecting a broad-based campaign structure.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors is expected to play a central role in grassroots mobilisation and communication strategy as political activities gradually build toward the 2027 elections.
