The Accord Party has announced the nomination and expression of interest fees for aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections, warning that its electoral window will close on April 25.
The Lagos State Chairman of the party, Dele Oladeji, made this known in a statement issued in Lagos following the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held in Abuja.
Oladeji said the NEC meeting served as the final session to determine key pre-election activities, including nomination fees, primary election dates, and the mode of primaries.
According to him, governorship aspirants under the party will pay ₦10 million for nomination forms and ₦5 million for expression of interest.
He added that Senate aspirants are to pay ₦5 million for nomination and ₦2.5 million for expression of interest, while House of Representatives aspirants will pay ₦3.5 million and ₦1.5 million, respectively.
For State House of Assembly positions, Oladeji said aspirants will pay ₦1 million for nomination and ₦500,000 for expression of interest.
He further disclosed that the party’s electoral window will close on April 25, noting that both membership registration and the purchase of nomination forms will end on April 26.
Oladeji called on Lagos residents seeking a change in governance to align with the party, urging “patriotic change agents” to join, contest, and contribute to governance.
He also pledged reforms in key state institutions, promising improved leadership and policies that would prioritise the welfare of citizens.
The party’s primary elections are scheduled to commence on May 21.
