All Progressives Congress (APC) South-West Zonal Woman Leader, Yetunde Shakirat Adesanya, is dead.

She reportedly passed away on Friday evening at her residence in Lagos following a prolonged illness said to have lasted over three months, according to family sources.

Adesanya, a notable grassroots mobiliser and advocate for women within the ruling party, was said to have died from an undisclosed ailment in the presence of close family members.

Her death has plunged the party’s women’s wing, particularly in the South-West zone, into mourning.

Details of her burial arrangements are expected to be announced by her family and the party in due course.
