Inter Milan secured their third Serie A title in six seasons on Sunday, following a comfortable 2-0 victory over Parma at the iconic San Siro.
A composed finish from Marcus Thuram just before half-time gave Inter the lead, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan sealed the win with a second-half goal to put the Scudetto beyond doubt.
With three matches remaining, Inter hold a commanding 12-point lead over reigning champions Napoli and sit 15 points ahead of third-placed AC Milan.
The triumph marks Inter’s 21st Italian league title, completing a remarkable turnaround under coach Cristian Chivu, who took charge last summer despite limited top-level managerial experience.
Less than a year after narrowly losing the 2025 title race and suffering a heavy defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final, Inter have returned to the summit of Italian football.
Chivu, a former Inter player, replaced Simone Inzaghi, who departed after winning six trophies and reaching two Champions League finals in four seasons.
Inter now have the opportunity to complete a domestic double, with a clash against Lazio in the Coppa Italia final scheduled for May 13 at the Stadio Olimpico.
