Pilgrims from Ogun State participating in the 2026 Hajj exercise in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have successfully completed the stoning of the Jamrat, marking the end of activities in Mina. The final stage of the Hajj rites would now continue in the holy city of Mecca.

Speaking shortly after the exercise, Executive Secretary of the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Taiwo Ajibola, commended the pilgrims for their orderly conduct throughout the exercise, as they moved in batches to perform the rite.

He congratulated the pilgrims on the successful completion of the major Hajj rites and urged them to uphold the lessons and values learned during the pilgrimage.

The stoning exercise lasted for three days, after which the pilgrims began preparations to return to Mecca for the concluding rites of the Hajj.
