Ogun CSC PS Assumes Duty, Hails Abiodun's Reforms - The Alternative News

The newly posted Permanent Secretary to the Ogun State Civil Service Commission, Mr. Jola Oyeneye, has embarked on an inspection and familiarisation visit to offices within the premises of the Commission upon his assumption of duty.

During the visit, the Permanent Secretary made some observations that required the need for some office furniture to be replaced, noting that some office tools too needed to be changed to enhance efficiency and provide a more conducive working environment for staff.

He commended the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun, for its unwavering commitment to the welfare of civil servants through the approval of several recruitment exercises, regular promotion and other morale-boosting initiatives implemented through the Civil Service Commission.

Oyeneye, noted that these efforts had significantly strengthened the State's workforce and improved service delivery across the Public Service, while also noting the importance of public communication, urging the Information and Public Relations Officers attached to the Commission to ensure regular publicity of the Commission's activities by preparing and disseminating quarterly publication.

He added that the publication of quarterly reports and activities would enhance public awareness of the Commission's mandate, programmes and achievements, while promoting transparency and accountability.

The inspection and familiarisation visit began with a prayer for divine guidance, wisdom and a successful tenure for the new Permanent Secretary as he settled into his new assignment.
