Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the commencement of registration and preparations for the 2027 Hajj exercise, urging intending pilgrims to begin necessary arrangements ahead of the spiritual journey.
Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Taiwo Ajibola, disclosed this while speaking with Journalists in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, saying the exercise had commenced in earnest, calling on interested pilgrims to take advantage of the early registration process.
According to him, intending pilgrims were required to make an initial deposit of ₦8 million pending the final approval and announcement of the official Hajj fare by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
Ajibola, advised intending pilgrims to make their payments promptly to secure their slots for the 2027 Hajj exercise, adding that the registration process is expected to be completed on or before September 2026.
He further encouraged prospective pilgrims seeking more information to visit the Board’s office at the New Secretariat, Block B, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, or contact the Board through the official phone lines: 08034294263, 08065824739 and 08028326135.
