ABEOKUTA — The Councillor representing Owode Ward in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, Hon. Ajayi Adekunle, has congratulated Senator Adeola Olamilekan Solomon, popularly known as YAYI, on the inauguration of his new campaign office located in the heart of Abeokuta, describing the development as another significant milestone in the senator's political journey.

Hon. Adekunle, who represents Ward 3 in Obafemi-Owode Local Government, said the opening of the campaign office reflects Senator YAYI's readiness to engage with the people across Ogun State and deepen grassroots participation ahead of the next governorship election.

According to the councillor, Senator Adeola has consistently demonstrated purposeful leadership and a commitment to the welfare and development of the people, qualities he believes have endeared him to residents across the state.

He described the senator as "a blessing to the people of Ogun State," expressing confidence that, if elected governor, Senator YAYI would consolidate on the achievements of the administration of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, by sustaining policies and programmes that promote economic growth, infrastructural development, youth empowerment, and improved social welfare.

Hon. Adekunle stated that the senator possesses the experience, capacity, and vision required to move Ogun State to greater heights, adding that his leadership style has continued to inspire confidence among party members and the electorate.

The councillor also called on the people of Obafemi-Owode Local Government and Ogun State at large to remain united and committed to the ideals of progressive governance. He urged residents to prepare to actively participate in the forthcoming electioneering process by giving Senator YAYI their full support once the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially lifts the embargo on political campaigns.

He emphasized the importance of conducting issue-based and peaceful campaigns in line with the Electoral Act and INEC guidelines, encouraging party faithful and supporters to mobilise responsibly and lawfully.

"As we look forward to the commencement of electioneering activities, I urge our people to stand firmly behind Senator Adeola Olamilekan Solomon YAYI. His track record of service and developmental initiatives speaks for itself, and I am convinced he will build on the remarkable achievements of the present administration for the benefit of all Ogun residents," Hon. Adekunle said.

The inauguration of the campaign office is expected to serve as a strategic hub for mobilisation, stakeholder engagement, and coordination of political activities ahead of the governorship election, as supporters anticipate the formal commencement of campaigns by INEC.
