BREAKING: Nigerian Filling Stations Slash Fuel Pump Prices Again - The Alternative News

Dangote Refinery-backed MRS filling stations, along with other petroleum outlets across Nigeria, have once again reduced the pump price of petrol.

A market survey conducted by DAILY POST on Monday revealed that MRS filling stations lowered their petrol price to ₦1,210 per litre, down from ₦1,260 in Abuja and surrounding areas. This represents a ₦50 reduction per litre.

In a similar development, AA Rano and other filling stations along the Kubwa Expressway in Abuja also adjusted their prices downward by about ₦25, selling petrol at approximately ₦1,275 per litre.

The latest price cuts follow last week’s announcement by Dangote Refinery of reductions in the prices of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), commonly known as diesel.

The recurring price adjustments signal a gradual shift in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum market, with consumers beginning to experience slight relief at the pumps.
