The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, says the commission has recovered more than N673 billion for the Nigerian government over the past three years.

Olukoyede disclosed this on Wednesday while delivering a lecture at the Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime in the United Kingdom.

The latest figure represents an increase from the N566.3 billion in monetary recoveries reported by the EFCC for the period between October 2023 and September 2025.

The EFCC chairman is expected to provide further details on the recoveries and the commission's anti-corruption efforts.
